Why does Monta Ellis get Snubbed Every year?

The warriors were only 3 games under 500 at the all star break, so the record wasnt that bad compare to Kevin Love, Blake Griffin, Chirs Kaman who made it last year, the year before that Devin Harris And Danny Grannger made when there teams were horrible. So why do the Warriors have to win in order for Monta Eliis to become an all star but these players dont?
