Should we take a few engagement pictures w/our puppy?

I think it would be a great idea a picture is for a lifetime we would want to include things that will remind us of our whole life surrounding us in that special moment. Don't think what others might think about what you want to keep close to your heart.To tell the truth I have kicked myself for not taking the pictures that really mattered to me.
