HAIR in the Millennium in the workplace...?

i would like to know the feelings of people who work, have to work, hire, fire, anything based on a persons hair. have you ped over a well qualified applicant because of their hair? have you not introduced yourself to a new co-worker because of their hair? do certain styles (more conservative, maybe) appeal to your senses (and what does that really mean?) is there diversity in your workplace for people to wear their hair (in a well kept manner) the way that they want or are there restrictions that everyone must abide? are those restrictions fair across the board (applying to both men and women?) is there a double standard? do you have control over your follicles?
