Why is their going to be another "Biggest Loser"

The show is a wash and the whole "overweight epidemic" is such stale news, why does NBC think it will still make money? Already the product placement is everywhere, saying to me that the program can't pull it's own. I suppose if the advertisers are there the show will go on, but other than people who like to consume huge quantities of junk food and laugh at the "contestants" as they grow out of being a teary-eyed fat nerds (you do know it's scripted, don't you) who else is will be watching The Biggest Loser: Families?
