Where should I go from here?

Okay about 4 weeks I had a camera stolen from me at school. I had it there for the sole purpose of using it for a project. When I went to get it out it wasn't there so I immeadiately thought dangg i left it at home-- wrong. I looked EVERYWHERE at home until I finally realized it had been stolen. A phone had also been taken from my friend in that cl too so I thought that it was connected. Well I went to the resource officer and they convinced me it wasn't him (he had been searched before he left and they only found the phone on him) and told me pretty much i was so outta luck. Well today about 4 different people came up to me today and said that Devin (the guy who stole the phone) also stole my camera but sold it to a boy in our cl who knew he'd stolen it from me. The boy transfered to a different school to get his GED and I know he still has my camera because it was VERY VERY nice. I went and told the resource officer but hes a lazy @$$hole and didn't do much and said 'i'll see what i can do.' Where should I go from here?
