Salary Negotiation for a lateral move

I wouldn't address a salary increase during this move. I would wait till the time of my annual review and discus it then. If you don't have a set annual review time, work this job 6 months and then address it. If I were an employer giving a lateral move, I wouldn't want to pay more till the employee proved him/herself in the new role.
