Muppet Squad or Police Investigators ? whats your worst experience of Police Incompetence?

Phoned local cops 4 am to report a stolen car on the road with its radio blaring and all the doors left open i already went over turned the radio off and closed the doors. Cop says we'll phone you back, 2 minutes later cop says can you go out and just check its not a car bomb! i screamed at them if it was a car bomb do you think i'd be here? they insisted if i couldnt verify it wasn't a car bomb then they would have to send the bomb squad out to make sure it wasn't. FS i'll sort myself. so i went back to the car and pushed it off the road.
