If voldemort wanted to kill harry, why did draco's friends tell draco in the room of requirement to kill harry?

i dont get it, voldemort wanted to kill harry but draco's friends told draco to kill harry? does draco know only voldemort can kill him if draco is a death eater. this was in harry potter and the deathly hallows: part 2?
