Did Hillary's plan backfire ?

I predicted this Saturday. If Obama allowed Hillary to become the candidate you vote for if you want a combined ticket, it would have devastated him. He seems to have played it perfectly so far - he nixed the idea in no uncertain terms, but he remained ambiguous about whether he might pick Hillary for VP.
