Any ideas on what to use or how to build myself a shooting sled?

Wanna build my own because I dont want to pay a hundred bucks for it when i can build one for half the price... I was thinking getting some steel to make the frame I do have a welder and plasma cutter to it should be quick but basically I need an idea to steady the barrel? Think just put a plate with a lip on it and use a sand bag?
